Gustavo Quiroz

I have played the roles of Software Developer, IBM WebSphere Specialist, Technical Leader, Software Architect and Project Leader in a wide variety of business and enterprise application projects over the last eight years, specially among the education, banking, insurance and telecommunications industries.

I have a strong backgroung in software architecture and have been practicing servant leadership and coaching agile development values, principles and practices for software development teams over almost four years. 

My teaching experience over the last five years includes various Agile & Scrum training courses and also Java and IBM development tools courses in: Perú, Chile, Panamá, Costa Rica and República Dominicana. I've also held a number of Teaching Assistant possitions in the field of software engineering over the course of five years at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. 

I am a Certified Scrum Practitioner and hold various IBM WebSphere/Rational/DB2/Lotus certifications. 

Lately, I'm been focusing on recruiting & retaining talented sofware developers, establishing & evolving career paths for them and creating and maintaining training, certification & knowledge management strategies that actually work in their environment.
